Well went to watch some Sunday premier league at Frank Drago Reserve. The game was ebbing and flowing. Rather frustrating as Balcatta were under the kosh so many times yet could have easily stole a victory with the odd chance against the run of play.
Plenty of people to watch say shy of 400 approximately. The support was very vocal and the goal to give Bayswater the win was well deserved to the relief of the fans.
The food never fails to deliver here in Bayswater. Bought myself a burger with the lot (minus egg) for 7 dollars. Great value and incredibly delicious. Bayswater have a great selection to choose from at the canteen unlike Morley who have sweet eff all so that cant be too hard. Chips were great and brilliant with gravy or sauce of your choice. The bar also has a great selection of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages at reasonable prices.
All in all Bayswater is a great venue to watch premier league games with a couple of friends and quality food made with passion from the guys at Bayswater.

Derby Day - Morley Windmills v Dianella White Eagles
Decided to head out to watch a division one derby on saturday afternoon and was wondering when the match would ever get out of first gear and take off. Well for virtually all of the match Dianella had controlled the game with a few fleeting moments from Morley that could have stolen an unlikely victory on the scoresheet despite the one way traffic.
Dianella scored in the first half with a controlled through ball and switch and then a goal scramble in the second half whereas Morley had 6 or so bites at the cherry to score their goal in the second half to flatter the scoreline.
Very decent crowd for this game as you would and should expect. I would say around 300 spectators were there perhaps more. The appalling thing about Wotton Park i must say was the quality of food or lack thereof to be honest.
Food virtually ran out 20 minutes into the first half. With chips being the only item left and even then you had to wait 15 odd minutes for them to be cooked and served to you. Even with that lengthy wait the quality of the chips were shocking, thank goodness it was only the small cup of chips I had to endure through.
They ran out of burger buns, patties, hot dog buns and few other items people wanted yet they still had sausages, yet were not selling them. They did have an assortment of lollies and chocolates as part of any state league food and beverage shop. although i didnt have any, they were serving coffees and teas for visitors so that was a nice touch to keep them happy to a certain point.
All in all despite a good game to watch the food facilities at Wotton Park are shocking, they were obviously not prepared for the amount of spectators to arrive which is a terrible oversight as this was a derby.

Football at Woodville - North Perth United v Gwelup Croatia
No football was on during this Sunday so decided to head down to Woodville Reserve to watch some football. This entry will be rather brief as there were no food services here on offer. However on the corner of Fitzgerald street and the reserve there is a deli but not the point of this blog now is it?
The game was a very heated one with players cursing and fouling left right and centre as the game went end to end and the game ebbed and flowed. Surprised that the referee didn't pull up some f the players on some of the foul language that was uttered, even the coach received some foul language from his own players.
One saving grace about this was that they did have drinks on sale, albeit Coronas Corona and a can of Coke was only 7 dollars so that was pretty good actually but shame they didn't have crisps or something on sale to have as a snack. Next time you head down to Woodville, make sure you take a picnic basket with you with what you want to eat and drink as this was the order of the day I observed many people doing.
All in all though a good game that was very entertaining and great to just sit down and watch some football. Maybe next time they will have a fry up or something there for the spectators.
